CandyvillePups started in 2015 with our first litter of pups out of our family pets, Tippy & Biscuit. Those three little rolly polly balls of fluff brought much joy to us and our four young children.
Since that first experience with the little pups, a vision grew of developing a responsible, ethical, purposeful breeding program. Many hours of research, investment and hard work have brought us to where we are today.
It's not the end of the road. We keep learning, improving, investing, and working toward higher goals, always striving to maintain a high standard in our breeding program, and providing a loving, safe, happy home for our pack.
From the early morning poop scooping to the all nighters attending the arrival of new wee ones, it's all about teamwork, it's about family.
It's about blessing and being blessed, sharing the gift of love and joy that God has created for his humans ~a gift wrapped in a soft, fluffy coat, a wagging tail, and a whole lot of puppy kisses.
We believe that the privilege of owning a dog comes directly connected with the responsibility to provide proper care, training, and lots of love so the dog can thrive in his environment, and have a purposeful, happy life.
"A righteous man regardeth(considers, values) the life of his beast..." Proverbs 12:10 God cares about how we care for His beautiful creatures.
As a family, we believe that God has designed all of Creation to bless mankind in some special way. Dogs were created with the most extraordinary ability to connect with humans. Their loyalty and devotion to their human is incredible.
They sense their human's emotions, they read their human's body language, and they try to understand and fulfill their human's needs ~whether they are physical or emotional needs.
Dogs can make a life changing, life saving difference in the lives of those facing physical, psychological and/or emotional challenges.
Dogs can bring back a sense of purpose, a sense of control, a sense of stability and new hope in facing life's everyday duties and responsibilities.
We, along with our staff, have spent and continue to spend hours researching and educating ourselves on what it takes to raise healthy, well balanced, socialized puppies that are able to adapt well as a pet in their new family’s home, and/or that have the solid foundation for potentially serving in the greater capacity of therapy or service fields.
