Jen at Regal Standard Poodles took the time to really understand us!

I’m not quite sure what I did before bringing our pup into our lives! From the very beginning, Jen at Regal Standard Poodles took the time to really understand us. She asked what kind of temperament we were looking for, what our dog would be doing—whether he would be a family pet, participate in agility, or be trained as a service dog—and what our family and lifestyle were like. Based on everything she learned about what we were looking for, Jen chose the puppy she felt was the right fit for our family. She knows her dogs, understands their individual personalities and temperaments, and takes the responsibility of making that match very seriously. I’m incredibly grateful that she did. Our boy has been such an amazing fit for our family, and watching him grow and begin his service dog journey has been an incredible experience. I was extremely nervous about getting a dog. It was a big decision for me, and I had what felt like thousands of questions before and after bringing him home. Jen was always there to answer them- No question ever felt silly, and I never felt like I was bothering her. Having someone who was so willing to talk things through with me made the whole experience so much easier (but still nerve-wracking!) I will never forget our puppies 'gotcha day.' Jen arrived at our home, we visited and went through details of our new family member, and then she was on her way. Before leaving, she said to us, 'welcome to the Regal Standard Poodles family' and gave me a big hug. I will never forget that 🩷
