Yankeedoodle pup

I am Michelle and me and my husband breed high quality, proper temperament puppies. We are a in home breeding program Located in Arthur Ontario, All of our dogs and doods are a loving part of our family or a guardian family and a part of our career. We take raising healthy puppies very seriously.

Dogs are my passion. I grew up on a horse breeding farm, where my family has been breeding animals for the last 40 years. Started with horses and now dogs. Also having years of experience working at Manning Equine Services in Orton Ontario, I was able to learn so much more about the reproductive work with animals. I followed this all up by doing my dog obedience through Animal Behavior Collage where I then learned about the dogs brain. This helps me start the puppies out on the right foot. They begin learning good habits at 6 weeks of age. Puppies will go home giving eye contact, sitting for a reward and my program teaches them you that good habits earn good yummy and positive things.

Recently we have taken steps to expand our breeding program by incorporating our other family members, who are also experienced breeders, into the fold. 

My mother, Caryl-Leigh, a long-time breeder of Sheepadoodles (formerly Willowrun Sheepadoodles) has recently retired. She still has two young breeding dogs as pets, so we plan to breed a few litters of Sheepadoodles. My mom will also enjoy her new role as a guardian home for Yankeedoodle Pups, and will lavish some of our upcoming litters with her loving care for the first 6 weeks, before I take them over for socialization and training. 

My sister, Steff (formerly Doodle Pups) will also be joining me as another guardian home for our breeding dogs and early-stage puppies. She has a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience to contribute to our collective endeavour. 

Although we will still be a small, in-house breeding business, this will allow us to expand a bit while maintaining our philosophy where our breeding dogs are also our well-loved family pets. This is critically important to us, as happy, healthy dogs produce the best puppies. 

My program is successful due to my phenomenal team of family and friends, who provide loving guardian homes for my parent dogs. We are all passionate and dedicated to designing and raising fabulous Teacup and Mini Doodle puppies and preparing them to thrive with their loving furever families.
