Hello Ladies and Gents,This is John St. & Nia St., we reside in the GTA (Markham, Ontario, actually).
Right now we have beautiful Tibetan Terriers specimens (both adults and puppies) with a stellar pedigree, including current European and World champions.
On March 19, 2025, we've been blessed with a litter of six gorgeous puppies, of four girls and two boys, non-reserved yet, and looking for relocation to appropriate new residences, in the next few weeks.
First of all, we have to emphasise that this breed brings lots of luck to the family, indeed.
While (inadvertently in our opinion) classified into the "non-sporting" class, we concluded that due to the qualities inculcated into the breed, the Tibetan Terriers are some of the most appropriately desirable mid size breed of dogs for multiple purposes, such as: great looking show dogs; home guardians; service dogs; companions.
They barely shed; they are non allergenic; they feel totally at ease within a great variation of climate, weather and temperature variations; in the winter, early spring or late fall especially when they can stay outside for prolonged periods (not only walking, but also leaning on the porch) one realizes how "it looks like these dogs were made especially with this kind of harsh climate/weather in mind!", occurs. Their double coat acts as a thermal blanket, so they do OK in hot weather, as well...
Actually, as guardian and herding dogs of the nomads in the Tibet area, the Tibetan Terrier had a long time to adjust to the harsh local conditions, until... Tibetan Monks adopted them and raised their status to "holy dogs" (also known as "little people", though being elevated to a human status)!; which preferably were not sold but given as presents and lucky charmers to family, relatives and/or close friends.
As old school breeders, we believe in litters up to six puppies at the most, and we also believe that the longer (within reasonable limits, of course) the puppies stay with their Mom and the litter/pack, the healthier they will be. That's why our ideal adopting time for puppies is at 3 1/2-4 1/2 month... young.
We'd be thrilled if some of them will continue to live in the GTA, allowing us to continue to meet them occasionally; but, of course, we'll be willing to ship over, worldwide, to the right new adoptive parents.
We are members of TTCC (Tibetan Terrier Canadian Club), CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) and Paction; the dogs are registered to the dog clubs of their countries of origin and with the CKC and TTCC.
The name of the Sire is STARaya Rusa Harry Potter (aka "Porter"), and has been imported from near Moscow (Tver), from Russia, in 2021.
His father is the most prominent and famous specimen of Tibetan Terrier in Russia, with a (provable) "stellar" palmares of competitional records.
His mother also helds, numerous prestigious trophies and competes, up to date. She also, helds a few titles as "herding dog" ability performances. Some of Porter's close relatives have been qualified as "Service Dogs", showing that the necessary abilities for such a difficult task, run into the blood line.
The name of the Dam is Omeliel Angel Djomo Gangcar (aka "Omi").
She was imported in 2022, from near Prague, from a top kennel in the Czech Republic.
Her father ("Rendez-Vous-With-Ti-La-Shu de La Chapelle des Anges") belongs to one of the most prestigious Tibetan Terrier kennels in the world, TiLa' Shu, from Germany (along with "Falamandus" kennel in Finland, which also provided ancestor in our dogs blood lines...); he holds multiple European and World champ titles. Similar (titles) holds her brother Otheos, from the same litter as our Omeliel.
The five generation pedigrees of both parents and the four generation (as limited by the CKC) pedigrees of the actual puppies, ilustrates the exceptional journey undertaken by us, by following the highly commendable examples of all the previous breeders involved. Our admiration and sympathy for them is inculcated deeply into our hearts and souls. God bless all the humans who struggle to perfect and make this World more beautiful, instead of mutilating what has been created by others, with so much and long efforts!...
Her mother, belongs to the wellknown worldwide kennel Djomo Gangkar (+40 yrs), from near Prague, in the Czech Republic and helds top conformation prizes from numerous competitions, in several European countries. Dogs originating from those top reputable kennels are spread all over the world and continue to win pretigiuous titles, constantly.
Of course, getting such exceptional dogs takes lots of persuasive and monetary efforts, and some (a lot of?) luck, as well. After all was said and done, we feel really blessed that we succeed in our deeds of getting and importing such outstanding TT gems.
Unfortunately, due to our senior age and our precarious physical shape, our dogs were not shown in competitions so far; but, whether they were privated by their deserved top titles, they live really happy lives! (living proof stands in their constant happy tails, LOL...:)
The matting of "top quality genes from the East meets top quality genes from the West", proved a very successful one, as shown/proven by the conforming shape of these puppies (from this first litter of ours/theirs), their health, their character and their temperament.
Whether for show or just for company (please specify your intentions with respect to that, in your application) these puppies will grow up as outstanding specimens of Tibeter Terriers and deserve best possible treatment.
