About Us

Welcome to LoJack Sport Dogs! We are a small, family-owned kennel specializing in German Shepherds. Our passion is breeding for true versatility—dogs that excel in service, sport, show and work, while also being amazing companions in the home. Our journey with this incredible breed began with a love for their intelligence, loyalty and versatility.

We do not specialize in just 1 line type of GSDs as we strongly believe in deciding our breed pairings by matching dogs in temperament and structure to get sound puppies while striving to stay within the breed standard. We dominantly have in our programs Czech, West German Work and American Show line dogs.

Our Philosophy

Our breeding program is founded on the principles of health, temperament, and proper structure to the breed standard. We believe in producing German Shepherds that possess the intelligence, courage, and work ethic to succeed in a variety of disciplines, all while maintaining the stable and confident temperament essential for a family dog. We breed for dogs that can go into a variety of venues from obedience, agility, conformation, bite sports to where our passion lies in service work and SARs. We are dedicated to continuous learning and utilize the latest advancements in canine health and genetics to produce the best possible companions and partners.

Our Dogs

Our foundation dogs are carefully selected from reputable lines known for their longevity, sound structure, and exceptional temperaments. They all undergo extensive health screening, including Screening for hips and elbows through either OFA/SV/CZ, and genetic testing for Degenerative Myelopathy (DM). 

Come 2026 we will also be starting to do spine, heart & eye health testing. 

Our Puppies

Our puppies are raised closely with us in a home environment. From day one, they are started on ENS & ESI practices along with imprinting on many scents be it CKC trialing scents or SAR based scents. This early socialization is critical to building confident and resilient puppies. Our puppies are raised also on service dog puppy raising practices along with by 8 weeks are well on their way to crate trained along with knowing several basic commands by then also. All puppies are temperament and aptitude tested to ensure them the best placements possible. When our puppies are ready to go to their new homes, they will be vet-checked, dewormed, and microchipped and come with a complete puppy pack and a lifetime of support from us. We are looking for committed homes that will provide a loving, safe, and enriching environment for our puppies.
