Our dogs are raised in the heart of our family. We are a busy homeschooling family with many children, and our Beagles grow up right alongside them in the middle of daily life. From the time they are small, our kids help with feeding, grooming, training, and caring for the dogs. Puppies are handled constantly, loved by many hands, and become comfortable with the sounds and rhythms of a full household.
Dogs play a meaningful role in our family life. Some of our children participate in Junior Handling, where they learn the skills of presenting dogs in the show ring while building confidence, patience, and sportsmanship. Our dogs are gentle teachers for our children, helping them learn responsibility, kindness, and how to work as a team with an animal.
Like many families, ours includes children with different personalities, needs, and abilities, and our dogs are part of that story as well. The steady companionship of our Beagles brings comfort, laughter, and a sense of calm to our home. Their cheerful nature and affectionate personalities make them wonderful partners for children.
We chose to breed Beagles in part because they fit so beautifully into family life. They are friendly, merry little hounds—curious, affectionate, and wonderfully expressive. Beagles have a joyful spirit that seems to brighten every room they walk into. They love people, enjoy being part of whatever the family is doing, and their playful personalities make them natural companions for children.
While our dogs are first and foremost beloved family members, we are also dedicated to preserving the breed through responsible breeding and participation in conformation shows. Showing allows us to evaluate our dogs against the breed standard and ensure we are producing dogs that are correct in structure, sound in movement, and true to type.
We are proud to be CKC registered breeders and members in good standing with the Beagle Club of Canada and the Western Beagle Club.
Our breeding priorities are simple and intentional. Health comes first, because a sound, healthy dog is the foundation for everything. Temperament is next, as Beagles should be kind, stable, and wonderful family companions. Alongside these qualities, we aim for the classic beauty of the breed—balanced, athletic little hounds who can shine in the show ring but also come home and curl up happily with the family.
