Blum’N Aussies

Hi! My name is Julie, and I am the owner of Blum'N Aussies! My husband Greg and I have 4 children that love all things animal, sport and outdoors! We live out by Vega, Alberta, where we raise our family and our dogs. Our dogs are a part of our family and we love doing life with them as much as they love doing life with us!

We have always been animal people, both of us growing up on farms, with both livestock and pets. We decided early in our marriage that we wanted to breed dogs. We began the journey of finding our forever breed. We knew we wanted dogs that were intellegent, loyal, and active. Once we started our family we decided to put our dream of breeding dogs on hold, wanting to make sure we gave our growing family the attention it needed. In 2020 we decided that our family was complete and it was time to start looking for our forever breed. Greg always loved herding breeds so we looked mainly in that area.

We happened upon our first Aussie Ace by chance. When we brought him home we still didnt know if this was the breed for us, but we wanted a pup for our kids to grow up with. We knew that Australian Shepherds are known to be smart, active, and loyal. Well we had no idea how much we were going to love this breed. Our adventure continues to unfold as we entered the world of CKC registered dogs. We now have pups that show, do agility competitions, and are also family pets.
