Bernedoodles & Co. was born from a genuine love of dogs and a desire to raise exceptional Bernedoodles who become cherished members of their families.
We are a small, home-based breeding program in Alberta, where our dogs are first and foremost part of our family. Our puppies are raised in our home, surrounded by people, other dogs, and the everyday sights and sounds of family life. From the very beginning, they receive plenty of love, attention, handling, and socialization to help them grow into confident, happy companions.
We fell in love with Bernedoodles because of the incredible combination of the Bernese Mountain Dog and Poodle. They are intelligent, affectionate, playful, loyal, and endlessly entertaining — but most importantly, every Bernedoodle has their own unique personality.
That’s why we take the time to get to know each puppy individually. We watch their personalities develop, how they interact with people and other dogs, their confidence, energy levels, and how they respond to new experiences. Our goal is to thoughtfully match each puppy with the family and lifestyle where they will truly thrive.
We are committed to responsible breeding and prioritize the health, temperament, and well-being of our dogs in every breeding decision. We health test our parent dogs and put considerable thought into pairing them to produce healthy, well-rounded puppies.
But our relationship with our families doesn’t end when a puppy leaves our home. We love staying connected, watching our puppies grow, and being a resource for our families throughout the years.
For us, this is about so much more than raising puppies. It’s about creating lifelong relationships, bringing families together, and giving each puppy the best possible start to a long, happy life.
