Hi!
I'm Kim, a passionate, devoted dog lover and Registered Veterinary Technician, Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner, and now a Field Labrador Retriever enthusiast. I live with my family of two human children and our dogs on a quarter section 20 minutes from Grande Prairie, Alberta. I graduated from the Animal Health Technology program from Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in 1996, and came to Grande Prairie in 1997 where I have worked at both mixed and small animal Veterinary clinics and continue my career as an RVT.
Since a very young age, I wanted to have and work with animals, especially dogs. I got my first dog when I was 16 and have had many dogs over the years.
I am now at a place in my life where I can spend more time with my dogs and fulfill my dream of breeding my three field Labrador retrievers. I got my first lab, Bentley, from the Grande Prairie area in 2019. I enrolled Bentley in scenting, which he has excelled in and has won numerous titles. I got Abigail from the U.S. in 2021 and she has won many titles in scenting as well. I got Ellie-Mae, also from the U.S., in 2022 and has been very successful in scenting as well! Lastly, I have Adi who was bred by me! She is from my first litter and has scenting and sprinter titles!
We spend time traveling throughout northern Alberta for scenting, sprinters and frisbee competitions and have accumulated several titles.
As a dog breeder, I am responsible for shaping fit, healthy and joyful puppies that will satisfy their future homes. I look forward to having many lab babies in my future and to spread the happiness a Labrador retriever can bring to it's family.
