After the joy of having a rescue dog, who we had to eventually put to sleep (old age with medical problems), we decided to turn to a breeder for our next dog. This was intimidating, since there are so many unethical "breeders" & we didn't know anyone we could get a referral from...but we found Doodle Dog Farms/Kerri, and we are so grateful we did! We did our research, met Kerri & visited the nursery where the puppies are birthed & live for the first 8 weeks - we were blown away! It takes a special person to do what Kerri does - you have to have a passion & love to care for these tiny beings 24/7. And it's not just looking after them, it's all the extras that make these puppies special - the socializing, desensitization, health checks - the list goes on & on. And on top of all the work with the puppies, Kerri updates clients about what's going on & also gives updates on social media (where does she find the time?) We can't say enough good things about Kerri. If you're considering adding a new member to your family, you will always be thankful for choosing Doodle Dog Farms/Kerri Shea.

Since then, I have pursed numerous courses in canine genetics, health testing, temperament testing, proper pairing, coat and coat traits, and important practices in raising puppies. Additionally, I've developed expertise in raising confident and well-adjusted puppies. Every puppy in my nursery is raised with a personalized program designed to build confidence, socialization and to become desensitized to nosies that wold typically startle dogs in our environment. This ensures my puppies get the best start in life.

As a breeder, recognize that creating new lives comes with a profound responsibility. It is my duty to provide the best possible environment to ensure each puppy's health, confidence, and readiness for success with their new families.
