Red Dog Kennel Chesapeake Bay Retrievers is located outside Barrie near Creemore Ontario.
We breed puppies for hunters, farmers, watersports lovers, sport dog enthusiests and extremly active families.
We have created our own propietory line of working dogs designed by us focused on personality traits and not for looks, colour or ribbons therefore we DO NOT inbreed! Our breeding dogs are extremly loyal family companions, have higher than average prey drives and athletic skills and are naturally protective only when when necessary and never without cause making them great family dogs. We even have 3 PTSD service dogs come from our kennel donated free of charge to Fire Team K9s a training organization for Wounded Warriors Canada. Our dog Tikka handled by our daughter is an excellent dock diver and part of a team of dogs that compete all over north America.
Our dogs are hunting in Alberta, Quebec, Northern Manitoba, Labrador, Newfoundland, Timmons, Thunderbay, Sudbury, North Bay and all over Southern Ontario. One of our dogs Oak lives in the Wegamow Lake Cree Tribe with Bentley Kakekayash cast member of Life Below Zero Canada!
Our Chesapeake Bay Retrievers are the most versitile cold weather hunting dogs available period!
Some are running trap lines and retrieving beaver, some are used as bear, coyote and deer dogs. Many are flushing and pointing small and upland game and of course dominating the waterfowl game.
