About Boston Terriers
The Boston Terrier is an American breed that traces its origins back to the late 19th century. This breed is a mix of the English Bulldog and the now-extinct White English Terrier, developed in Boston, Massachusetts—hence the name "Boston Terrier." Initially bred as a fighting dog, the breed's temperament shifted over time through selective breeding to create the friendly, lively, and adaptable companion we know today.
